What Does Your Dream Home Look Like?

Ever since I was a little girl, I've dreamed of living in a old, slightly run-down, Victorian home.  The character and detail in these houses is so much more beautiful than anything being built today.  Now that I am an adult, these types of homes have become "trendy", so my ideal home will probably always be out of my price range.  Nevertheless, I can still dream!

I love looking at houses like this.  I can't help but think about the people who lived there in the past and what ghosts and goblins now roam the abandoned halls!  A home like this would be the perfect place to display quirky collections and provide an elegant framework to inspire ones day-to-day activities!

The Insects Christmas

I love bugs.  But that's not surprising, after all, who doesn't?  They are amazing, tiny creatures who are fascinating to watch.

I also love Christmas, so it's not surprising that at Christmastime I always watch The Insects Christmas.  This early stop-motion animated film was made in 1913 in Russia.  It features a tiny Santa, multiple insects, and a frog all celebrating Christmas.

In what universe is this normal?  If most people saw a random clown and skeleton, they might take a second look.  However, what if in some parallel universe, this was considered normal and we were the ones who were a little strange?  Wouldn’t you just love spending a day in a place like that?  I would!
